DIY install

DIY runs Sensa as an add-on inside your existing Home Assistant. You keep control of the hardware, the OS, updates, and remote access. Sensa installs dashboards, Nomad Scenes, and automations on top.

DIY is for existing Home Assistant users who want Sensa's dashboards and scenes without giving up the reins.

Step-by-step content is being written. The outline below is what the guide will cover.

1. Make sure your Home Assistant is running and up to date.
2. Add the Sensa repository to Home Assistant.
3. Install the Sensa app.
4. Sign in and link your Sensa licence.
5. Pair your devices. See Prepare Devices.
6. Move on to Configure.
