Home layouts
The Home tab is the first thing you see on the Habitation dashboard, and you can choose how it is arranged. Different layouts suit different vans and different habits.
Choosing a layout
Pick your layout in Settings. The layouts that ship with Sensa are:
- Power Central. The default. A power-flow diagram at the centre, battery and tank dials down one side, climate controls down the other. There is a dial for every tank your system can read, whatever it holds: fresh, grey and black water, diesel, petrol or LPG.
- Split View. A two-column arrangement for when you want more on screen at once.
Which layouts you can choose from can depend on your Tier (Base, Pro, Vision or AI).
The Cab dashboard's Home screen is chosen the same way, between a landscape and a portrait layout. Both now show the same things: your engine dials alongside the navigation map, with the map taking the full height of the screen. Landscape puts the dials in a column to the left of the map, portrait stacks them above it. With no engine adapter fitted there are no dials to show, so the map takes the full width as well.
Some dealers provide their own bespoke homepage. If you bought through one of them, their layout may appear in your list, or replace the standard ones, depending on how they set it up.
Choosing what appears on Home
You decide which devices show up on the Home screen, and where. Open Settings, choose the Devices tab, and expand the device you want. Heaters, lights, air conditioners and the van level each offer two settings, one for the Habitation Home screen and one for the Cab Home screen.
- Home Layout is which column the device's compact card sits in: Off, Left, Middle or Right. Off keeps it away from Home entirely.
- Home Order is where it sits among the others in that column. Lower numbers come first. Leave it alone and devices fall into alphabetical order, so two you have not touched never swap places on you.
The full controls always remain on the Lighting and Climate tabs, whatever you choose here.
Both Cab Home layouts now give the whole screen to the engine dials and the map, so neither has a column for these compact cards to sit in. The Cab Home Layout and Cab Home Order settings are still shown on each device and what you choose is remembered, but nothing on the Cab screen reflects it today.
The Habitation Home setting beside it works exactly as described above. This affects the Cab screen only.
The van level's bubble gauge used to appear on the Home screens on its own. It is now picked the same way as everything else, so you can put it where you want it or leave it off.
If your van had it before, it will not be there until you choose a column for it. The full park-up view on the Cab dashboard's Parking tab is unaffected.
