On the road

Two instincts that only matter once you are moving. Both use where the van is, so both need a GPS source.

Low fuel near a station

Fuel getting low and a filling station within reach on your route. Both have to be true at the same time. The station comes from Sensa Radar, see Navigation and tracking.

The thresholds currently ship at test values, fuel below 99% and a station within 10 miles, so that the link to Radar can be proven in the field. Expect the defaults to drop before general release. In the meantime, set your own figures if it speaks up more often than you would like.

Settings: Station within 10 mi, range 1 to 50. Fuel below 99%, range 5 to 99.

Default: Alert.

You need: a vehicle fuel level sensor, typically from a WiCAN OBD2 adapter, and Sensa Radar.

Schengen days

Sensa counts your days inside the Schengen area against the 90 in 180 rule and warns you as you approach the limit.

This one is not in the Instincts tab and has nothing to configure. It is always on, and it only speaks when three things are true at once: tracking is enabled, the van is currently inside the area, and you have 10 or fewer of your 90 days left. While that remains the case it warns at most once a day. The message tells you how many days remain and, where it can work it out, the date you would need to leave by.

The counter is there to help you plan. It does not replace official border records, and you remain responsible for staying within the rules. The full day-by-day view lives on the Schengen tab, see Intelligence.

Settings: none.

Default: a warning in the Log.

You need: a vehicle GPS source, such as the router's GPS.
