Firmware Releases

This page is the historical record of firmware releases for BlackPaw Control System devices.

Firmware Releases cover updates delivered to physical ESP-based devices. Each release note makes it clear which device or devices the firmware applies to and whether it is intended for Nomad, Helm, or both.

If you are looking for updates for the Home Assistant side of the BlackPaw Control System, see System Releases.

  • any important upgrade or compatibility notes

A typical firmware release note may include:

  • breaking changes
  • upgrade notes
  • compatibility notes
  • known issues
  • rollback or recovery guidance where relevant
