Radar 3.3 finishes western Europe. Portugal, Ireland and Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany join the countries Radar holds a full copy of the map for, taking it to eight. On top of that, France gets thousands of aires it did not have and its clean air zones on the map, Spain gets live pump prices, and a long-standing bug that made aires come back empty outside Scotland is fixed.
Radar 3.2 adds two more countries to the map. Spain and Belgium now sit alongside Great Britain and France as places Radar holds a full local copy of, so a search in Girona or Ghent comes back as full and as fast as a search at home. The Data sources page has been regrouped by region to match, so you can tell at a glance what applies where you are heading.
Radar 3.1 takes it across the Channel. France now has live forecourt prices and the same depth of place data the UK has always had, so a search in Normandy comes back as full and as fast as a search in Norfolk. Portugal, Ireland and Northern Ireland, Spain, and Belgium are next in line.
Radar 3.0 opens the map up to travellers. You can now add the places you find, leave a tip on the ones you use, add photos, and tell everyone else that a listing is still accurate. There are new categories for overland travel and for road reports, a redesigned details panel, and a way to earn Radar Premium for free by contributing.
Radar 2.1 adds active fire detections from NASA satellites to the hazard layer, free for everyone, and makes searching for a place by name work properly anywhere in the world. The map layers are clearer about what is switched on, and the data source filters now control the overlays as well as your search results.
Radar 2.0 brings your Radar account together with your Sensa account, so there is one login across everything and no separate Radar password to remember. It also adds a light and dark look for the app, with an automatic mode that follows sunrise and sunset where you are.
Radar 1.3.2 makes route planning quicker and clearer. Your saved places now come up as you type a start, destination or stop, the plan panel keeps out of your way, and services along the route are easier to show, hide and read, fuel prices included.
Radar 1.3 lets you save any point on the map, not just the places Radar already lists. Right-click on a computer, or press and hold on a touch screen, and a pin drops with a Save box ready to fill in.
Radar 1.2 is the first full release after the beta series. It brings together everything built during the betas, finding places, planning routes, trip mode, saved places, and community contributions, and adds the changes below.
